Episode 2: Treating Guy’s shoulder injury!
Is it getting better?

Short answer is : yes.
He has regained almost full range of motion in his left shoulder, however is still experiencing pain between 120-180 degrees of shoulder abduction and end range of movement. Shoulder still feels tender to touch. From these findings we are suspecting supraspinatus injury with potential bursitis.
Rehab is very important in this stage - at the shoulder is still painful, it is easy not to move it, but we don’t want to worsen any stiffness or weakness through the shoulder.
We have incorporated scapular stability and isometric exercises in his routine to offload the shoulder joint and preserve the muscle strength.
