Happy Father’s Day

Today, we highlight all fathers; those with us, and those held dearly in our hearts.

To the dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures, and those who are no longer by our side your love, guidance and memories live on in everything we do.

Whether you’re celebrating with your family today or quietly remembering someone special, we send our warmest thoughts to you.

With love,
Susan x

Last night I attended a very warm and happy service to welcome Revd Tracey Caswell who will be looking after the parishes of Winfarthing and Upper Waveney. Lovely to see so many old faces and meet new ones. I look forward to working with her.

We are in full support of the Advertising Standards authorities decision to ask Pure Cremation to remove their misleading advert regarding their direct cremation.
At a time in their life when everything is so complicated, the last thing bereaved people need is being confused by this type of advertising.
We are here to help navigate your way through what can be one of the most difficult times in your life. It doesn't mean you have to have an elaborate service, we also offer direct cremation options if that is right for you.

Pure Cremation’s advert has been pulled be regulators for claiming an attended funeral service was part of its standard plan

Tonight we attended another fantastic event with The Blossom Charity. A talk by Caroline and Tom, winners of the 5th series of Race Across the World. An interesting talk explaining the making of the series and their experience. It was fascinating.

Simon and I will be completing the Race Across Suffolk in July, organised by the blossom charity. If you can make a donation, however small, the money will go towards the incredible work this amazing small,.local charity do for so many.

Also we are sponsoring this year's installation for them in the form of a field of metal flowers at Eye Castle which will be available for sale after rhe trail is over. They are as beautiful as they look. We have some samples coming to our branches for you to see. They can also be personalised and dedicated with a small tag.
