🏳️‍🌈 Today is National Coming Out Day 🏳️‍🌈
When people in the LGBTQIA+ community "come out" and share their orientation or identity, it's never just the once! They have to face the assumptions of a cis-heteronormative world on a daily basis, coming out over & over again with every new person they encounter (and feel comfortable to share with). For some it's not a big deal, for others it's monumental. Either way, it's a privilege & an honour. So, to every single person that has shared this part of themselves with me - Thank you ❤️

If you're someone who worries about being perceived as "weird", I've got news for you - In archaic times, weird was used to mean 'fate' or 'destiny'... So the way I see it, we're meant to be weird! Let's redefine the word, again. After all, we're not meant to be the same! And life would be pretty boring if we were, don't you think? ✨
