Who is ready for Halloween/Samhain tomorrow?
The holiday Samhain, pronounced Sow-een/Sow-en, is the Ancient Celtic celebration of honoring our passed ancestors!
Samhain is said to have originated in Ireland and Scotland around 2,500 years ago, however, there is speculation that it is even older than we first believed!
Traditional ways of celebrating involve bonfires, soul cakes, dressing up, and dancing around. As well as trick-or-treating, but in a different way than we all have come to know and love.
