At Adico Care, we stand with everyone affected by stroke — survivors, families, and caregivers. A stroke can change a life in an instant, but with the right care, rehabilitation, and support, recovery and independence are possible. 💪

This year’s theme reminds us of the importance of awareness and prevention:
⚠️ Know the FAST signs of stroke:
👉 Face – drooping
👉 Arms – can’t lift one arm
👉 Speech – slurred or strange
👉 Time – call 999 immediately

Our dedicated team supports clients in their own homes with compassion, patience, and professional care — helping stroke survivors regain confidence and quality of life every day. 💜

Together, we can raise awareness and make every moment count. ⏰

Join us on October 29th to drive public awareness of stroke symptoms and the need to . With 1 in 4 of us at risk of stroke in our lifetime, it's in everyone's interest to know the signs of stroke. Time lost is brain lost and seeking emergency care as soon as symptoms are spotted saves lives....

We also fondly recall Sasha and Claire’s walking marathon in 2024, where they raised a whopping £1,430 for breast cancer awareness and support! 👟💪 💗

Did you know that dementia and the menopause share similar symptoms? 🤔

Some of the similar symptoms include:
👉 Memory issues or brain fog
👉 Poor concentration
👉 Low mood and emotions
👉 Issues multitasking
👉 Anxiety

It can be difficult to tell if these symptoms are related to perimenopause, menopause, young onset dementia, or both.

So, it's important to see your GP if you have any concerns. You can also contact our free Helpline on 0800 888 6678 to speak to a specialist dementia nurse.
