🎉💙 Our Father’s Day celebrations have officially started! 💙🎉

What a wonderful day we've had! Residents enjoyed a fantastic singalong with Maintenance Martin, who is always a firm favourite and had everyone singing along. 🎶😊

The fun continued with our popular Tipple Trolley, offering a selection of beverages, followed by a delicious cheese and wine treat ,the perfect pairing! 🍷🧀

A lovely day filled with music, laughter, and great company as we begin celebrating all the wonderful fathers and father figures in our community. 💙

💙 What a wonderful day! 💙

Today we were delighted to welcome students from Kings School, Harpenden.

As part of National Carers Week, the students kindly brought along some delicious homemade bakes for our staff, including cookies and cakes, which were very much appreciated! 🍪🧁

We spent the afternoon enjoying a variety of activities in four groups, including dancing, crochet and knitting, games, and conversation sessions. There was lots of laughter, friendship, and fun shared by everyone.

A huge thank you to all the students for your kindness, enthusiasm, and generosity. We loved having you with us and can't wait to welcome you back again soon! 💙

National Beer Day 🍻

Today we celebrated National Beer Day with a special "Beers Around the World" experience. Residents enjoyed sampling a selection of beers from different countries, served from our "Around the World" trolley.

The activity sparked plenty of conversation, with residents sharing memories of travels, favourite drinks, and experiences from around the globe.

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the opportunity to try something different while socialising with friends.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, reminiscence, and a taste of international culture, making it a fun and engaging celebration for all involved.

🐾 Another adorable pet visit! 🐾

This time we had the pleasure of welcoming PJ the Cocker spaniel puppy! 🐶💙

PJ was full of energy, loved meeting everyone, and brought lots of smiles along with his wagging tail. It was a joy having him visit us!

Another lovely day for our residents! ☕🎶 Our coffee morning was filled with smiles and enjoyment as residents took part in Musical Bingo. In the afternoon, some residents enjoyed relaxing hand massages accompanied by soothing music, making for a calm and restful end to the day.

Happy Best Friends Day! 💕

Today we celebrated Best Friends Day with our lovely ladies who have formed wonderful friendships with one another here at Willow Court.

We enjoyed a delightful cream tea morning, complete with Bucks Fizz and music to set the perfect tone for the celebration. There was plenty of laughter, conversation, and cherished moments shared between friends, making it a truly special morning.

Friendship brings joy, companionship, and support, and it was wonderful to celebrate the meaningful connections our residents have made. 💖🥂🎶
