The little details matter.

Knowing how someone takes their tea, where they keep their glasses or the routine that helps them feel settled can make all the difference.

Care is not just about tasks. It is about noticing the small things that help someone feel comfortable, respected and understood. 💚

It is often the smallest things that make a house feel like home.

A favourite chair, a familiar scent, a well-loved photo or the sound of the kettle boiling. 🏡

From favourite songs to dance to or quiet afternoons with the radio on, music can be deeply comforting and uplifting.

What song always brings back a special memory for you?

It’s easy to think we only need to drink when we feel thirsty, but this isn’t always the case, especially for older adults.

Thirst signals can become less noticeable with age, so regular drinks throughout the day can help support their wellbeing. 💧

Keeping a drink nearby, offering small sips often or enjoying water-rich foods can all help make hydration feel easier.
