Hi everyone ππΌ
Let talk about oppression πΆ
In our upbringing and environment can feel oppressive when our parents have certain beliefs and we think we have to go with there beliefs as children in my experience my creative play in some way was oppressed how in others ways it was chaotic.π₯β‘οΈ
Iβm my teenage years I rebelled as we do as I was expressing my childhood year as a teenager my mother was ill and I was expected to look after her while my dad went to work my sister moved out and from 14 years old I took on the role of care giver I had to grow up fast however I did rebel against this but by then I was conditioned to oppression from a child as I t was playing on my own I enjoyed the most however it was directed to socialising with friends in my bedroom having dance competitions which that conditioned me to believe that friendships are competitive as I am typing this iam realising the nature of my environment even with my family structure we had to compete for love β€οΈ
Which lead me to believe that there wasnβt enough.
And what I have learned since my own heal journey is to to be authentic knowing there is enough for everyone and to be comfortable in my own skin .
Thank you for allowing me to share my journey π₯ππ¬οΈπ
