✨MEET THE TEAM MONDAY✨

Today we are introducing the heart of Willows. Our lovely directors and husband and wife duo, Nick and Karen Jordan. They have been happily married for 29 years. Nick has been a funeral director for over 30 years and Karen has been arranging over 20 years.

They opened Henfield Funeral Services in December 2014 followed by Willows Funeral Service in February 2018.

Karen was brought up within the funeral industry as her late father Richard, who sadly passed in 2023, had been a funeral director for over 50 years serving his local community. Karen met Nick in 1994 who knew Richard well. Nick and Karen started their journey together alongside Richard because they saw how much families needed care, honesty and kindness and Karen certainly learnt from the best! They wanted to build something different. A place where every family is treated like one of their own with respect and gentle guidance every step of the way. Families have expressed their thanks to Nick and Karen telling them that the care, compassion and attention to detail are second to none.

Away from work, Nick has a large collection of classic cars which he proudly has renovated over the years. He attends classic car shows when he can. Karen enjoys playing outdoor bowls. A highlight for Karen in her bowls career was when she got through to Leamington in 2025!

Nick & Karen have two children, Connor and Alisha and their two bichon frises Teddy and Winnie who are loved by the family!

Nick and Karen built Willows on one promise. To look after you and your loved one as if they are part of our family.

Join us for a warm welcome at our St Leonards-on-Sea office — and help us raise money for a wonderful local cause!

We're holding an open day and all proceeds from our raffle will go to St Michaels Hospice

Great day at Wealden Crematorium — incredibly informative open day!

The arranged talks were brilliant — gave real insight into their facilities, care, and environmental work with there New Willows outdoor area for a more natural space for family’s to be able to say goodbye.

UK FIRST: Wealden is the first crematorium in the UK with the FTIV4 hybrid cremator — amazing to see this sustainable technology.

So valuable to see everything first-hand — means we can guide families with even more confidence
