🏆 What a night for Team Bluebird Care Welwyn and Hatfield! 🏆

We are bursting with pride! Huge congratulations to our incredible Angela Frost, who took home the Community Engagement Award at the Bluebird Care Regional Awards 🎉

This win is so well deserved. Angie has been building something really special, running singing workshops at two local community hubs, showing up week after week, and bringing so much joy to the people she works with. The community keeps asking for more of her, and honestly? So are we. This is just the beginning of where we want to take this 🎶

And we can’t celebrate without giving huge recognition to our amazing Heather Notley, who was a finalist for Care Coordinator of the Year. Being recognised regionally alongside Angie is a reflection of the calibre of people we’re lucky to have on our team, this wasn’t a one-person effort, it’s a team that shows up for our community every single day.

This award means so much because it’s exactly who we are, a care company that’s rooted in community, not just in name but in action. Seeing that reflected on a regional stage, among some incredible Bluebird Care franchises, is everything.

A lovely example of community spirit this Easter 🐣💙

Our Care Supervisor’s daughter put her creativity to work by making a beautiful Easter hat, which was kindly donated to the Roseacre Gardens Easter party. It was wonderful to see it bring smiles to everyone attending!

Our amazing carer Angie was also there hosting a fun-filled singing and dancing workshop, helping residents and guests celebrate together with music, laughter, and joy. Moments like these are what caring is all about—bringing people together and making a real difference in our community.

At Bluebird Care, we’re proud to support local events and create meaningful connections beyond care at home.

If your community event would like Angie to attend for a singing and dancing workshop, or if you need support such as donations for tea and biscuits, we’d love to help. We also offer these workshops free of charge for community hubs that are interested.
