It’s about everything in between.
Today at Portsdown View Care Home , colleagues from across our teams — came together for an important Pressure Ulcer Prevention & Mattress Selection session.
At Connaught Care Collection, we believe that great care starts with great knowledge, equipping the team with the right expertise and continually looking for ways to enhance the experience of our residents.
And sometimes, the things that make the biggest difference are the things we might take for granted.
Sleep is one of them.
A good night’s sleep is fundamental to our health, happiness and quality of life. For our residents, creating the right environment, choosing the right equipment and understanding individual needs can make an extraordinary difference to their comfort, independence and overall wellbeing.
Across Connaught Care Group, our Central Support Team, Regional Operations and Quality Director Kirsty Harragan, Regional Operations and Quality Director Michelle Bladen and our Chief Operating Officer Amanda Smith, continue to champion the importance of excellent care, professional development and the highest possible standards across our homes.
Because when we pay attention to every detail — from the mattress a resident sleeps on to the way we support them throughout the night — we create something much more meaningful than care.
We create comfort. We create dignity. We create better days and better nights.
A huge thank you to Tom Carron from OSKA for delivering today’s valuable and engaging session, and for helping our teams deepen their understanding of pressure ulcer prevention and the importance of selecting the right mattress for each individual.
Responsibility belongs to all of us. Through continous training, we are here to create comfort, create dignity, better days and better nights for our residents.
