💃🏻 🕺 Fun was had as we turned our singalong into a Disco Divas celebration! ✨🪩

We shook our pom-poms, sang along to some fantastic tunes, danced like no-one was watching and shared plenty of laughter along the way. It was wonderful to see everyone joining in, having fun, and bringing so much energy to the room.

A truly joyful afternoon filled with music, smiles, and some great moves! 💃🎶💖

This week is Darin - Our Personal trainer.

Darin has already made a wonderful impact on our residents through his engaging fitness sessions, helping to promote mobility, strength, confidence, and overall wellbeing. His enthusiasm, kindness, and commitment to supporting each individual have made him a valued member of our team.

Having Darin with us full-time means even more opportunities for our residents to enjoy tailored exercise programmes, fun group activities, and personalised support to help them stay active and healthy.

Thank you for all that you do. We are lucky to have you ❤️

What a fantastic day at the pool! 🏊‍♀️💙

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful swimming session today, filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of splashing fun. Swimming is a great way to support physical wellbeing, boost confidence, and create meaningful moments together.

It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the water, socialising with friends, and making new memories. A huge thank you to our amazing team for making the outing such a success.

We are so proud to provide opportunities that promote joy, independence, and wellbeing for those living with dementia.

Massive thank you to Pompey Health & Fitness Club for being so welcoming and the yummy food 😋

This year, all six of our Connaught Care Collection homes are coming together to celebrate Care Home Open Week with a fantastic World Cup themed programme of events, and everyone in our local communities are invited to join us, including you!

Care Home Open Week is a wonderful opportunity to open our doors, showcase life within our homes, and bring together residents, families, neighbours, local businesses, healthcare professionals and community groups for a week of connection, fun and celebration.

Across our homes, you'll find a variety of football-inspired activities, entertainment, refreshments, community gatherings and opportunities to meet our amazing residents and teams.

We are incredibly proud to support one of our amazing team members, who is taking on an incredible 60 miles walk to raise money for cancer charity and help make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. 💛

This challenge will require determination, resilience, and a lot of miles on foot, all for a cause that touches so many families and communities.

Yesterday our residents enjoyed a lovely trip out to the Aerodrome Café at Goodwood for lunch. ✈️☀️

Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying delicious food, great company, and watching the aircraft activity from the café. It was a fantastic opportunity to get out and about, share memories, and create new ones together even if we did get a little wet from the rain 🌧 🤣

A big thank you to the staff at the Aerodrome Café for their warm welcome and excellent service. We look forward to our next visit! 😊

‼️‼️‼️Update on Our Family Fun Day Event on saturday, Unfortunately we are having to rearrange due to the weather forecast being horrendous and being unable to hold it indoors due to numbers and safety of our residents and the local community. We are now holding it next weekend Saturday the 13th of June. Same time/ Same place‼️‼️‼️‼️
