We are especially proud to see recognition for co-produced learning disability training, which highlights the value of working together with people who have lived experience to create meaningful, impactful learning.

Also wishing the very best of luck to Emma Louise Cuthbert who has also made it as a finalist in the Supporting People with a Profound and Multiple Learning Disability category. We are proud that you have recieved the recognition for the hard work you deliver to the people you support. Best of luck!

What a fantastic day on the water! 🚣‍♂️🐬

Yesterday, Dolphin took part in the Chichester Rotary Club Dragon Boat Race, joining local organisations and community groups to help raise money for Chichester Rotary Club and CancerWise.

From the first paddle to the finish line, our team showed incredible determination, teamwork, and plenty of Dolphin spirit. Most importantly, we were proud to support two wonderful organisations that make such a positive difference within our local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported and cheered us on throughout the day, it meant so much to our team. We had an amazing time and are already looking forward to the next one!

On Saturday, the people we support took part in Cyber Security Awareness Training, learning useful tips to help them stay safe when using the internet, social media, emails and mobile devices.

The session covered topics including spotting scams, protecting personal information, creating strong passwords and recognising suspicious activity online.

As technology plays an important role in everyday life, it's important that everyone has the knowledge and confidence to use it safely.

Well done to everyone who took part and got involved in the discussions! 👏

This week, our COO spent some time back at their roots, supporting directly alongside Jake.

They enjoyed a fantastic day out at Marwell Zoo, made even more special by Jake sharing his knowledge throughout, from the animals themselves to their enclosures and the history of the zoo. It’s safe to say there was a lot learned along the way!

Jake specifically asked for this to be shared so he can be famous, and we’re very happy to help with that 🦁👏

The people we support at Abbey House, have been helping to raise awareness of Prader-Willi Syndrome by designing and creating an awareness poster displayed in their home.

Every year, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association helps educate people about the condition and encourages individuals, families and organisations to get involved through activities, fundraising and awareness campaigns.

Well done to both of you for making a difference in your community 💙

Today is World Environment Day 🌍💚

At Dolphin, we’re committed to making eco-friendly improvements across our services, as well as hosting quarterly Green Committee forums to keep both staff and the people we support informed and involved.

This fantastic montage was created by Atiq, one of our service users at Kingfisher Court. Atiq not only helped support and fund updates to the garden, but also played a key role in transforming it into a greener, more welcoming space for everyone to enjoy, and what an amazing transformation it is!

Next week, Atiq will be hosting a garden party and gardening session, giving all Kingfisher residents the chance to name their own plants and enjoy the beautifully improved outdoor space together. 🌿✨

We are incredibly privileged that Axelle, a person who live in one of supported living services, trusted us to record her speech of her journey with mental health.

In this powerful and honest speech, Axelle talks about their experiences with mental health hospitals, their diagnosis, and how supported living has made a difference in their life.
