It’s that time of year again where we start talking Winter Vaccinations… even though the sun is still shining!!
The NHS Booking System is up and live, allowing you to book your NHS flu and Covid-19 vaccine appointments, and as with most NHS services, you have full choice over where you get your vaccines from.
The service is open to qualifying patients from 1st October, however pregnant women can access their flu vaccine from 1st September.
These appointments haven’t been released as we are awaiting final details on vaccine delivery, so please do get in touch to arrange an appointment nearer the time.
For the first time, this year, we will also be able to offer NHS flu vaccines to qualifying children aged 2-17! This includes all children aged 2-3 on 31st August 2026, and those in a clinical risk group from 1st October onward.
Any other children who miss the school service, will be able to get a vaccine through their local pharmacy from 1st December onwards.
Private flu (£21.50) and Covid (£90) vaccines will also be available from 1st September as stock allows, so please get in touch for further information.
The MenB vaccine service is still ongoing, and available to those young people entering residential further education, as well as those born between 1/9/2007 and 31/8/2008. We also have a private service available for those who don’t qualify for the NHS service (£100/dose, 2 doses required)
