Robson's Funeral Directors is a local family business, established in 1877 as A & J Robson joiners and undertakers. Our family decided to resurrect the funeral side of the business in 2009 and totally refurbished the premises to include a mortuary, large garage and Chapel which seats 120. Our motto says it all "Our Family Helping Yours" We take care of your loved ones as if they were our own. Robson’s Funeral Directors is an appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited trading as Golden Charter Funeral Plans, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:965279).

Service to be held on Friday 20th November 2026
at Borders Crematorium, Melrose at 11.30am.
Donations if desired to SSPCA.
Blue to be worn if desired.

at Buccleuch Care Home,
with her family by her side,
Irene née Oldham
Devoted and loving wife to the late John,
Amazing mum to Keith and Jill,
Best granny to Niamh,
Mother-in-law to John and Lisa,
Much loved sister to Jock and Michael,
Loving sister-in-law and auntie to all the family.
Will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Service to be held at Robsons Dovetail Chapel
on Thursday 12th November at 11.00 am,
followed by committal at Borders Crematorium at 12.30 pm.
Donations if desired to Buccleuch Care Home Comfort Fund.
