Penmeneth House Care Home is looking for a kind, caring, and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our friendly team 🤝.

🕒 Role Details

Shift Pattern: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Contract: 24-hour contract available
Care Provision: Year-round, 24/7 care environment

💼 Key Responsibilities

Providing personal care and support to residents 🧑‍⚕️
Assisting with daily living activities 🛁🍽️
Promoting dignity, respect, and independence 🌈
Supporting residents’ emotional and social wellbeing 💬
Working as part of a team to maintain high standards of care 👥

✅ Requirements

A kind, patient, and caring nature 💖
Good communication and teamwork skills 🗣️
Willingness to learn and develop 🌱

🎓 Experience & Training

No previous experience required 👍

Our residents have been making the most of the beautiful sunshine and enjoying a lovely day filled with smiles, fresh air and good company. ☀️🌸
We enjoyed some scenic drives out and about, followed by relaxing time together in the garden. There was plenty of sunshine, laughter and conversation, with delicious ice creams to cool us down. 🍦
Our residents also enjoyed a selection of fresh salads and juicy seasonal fruit, making it the perfect summer treat. 🍓🍉🥗

✨ Role:Care Worker
✨ Shift Patterns: 8am – 8pm | 8pm – 8am
(Mostly night shifts, with occasional day shifts available)

Are you a caring, reliable, and compassionate person who loves making a real difference in people’s lives? 🤍

We are looking for friendly and dedicated bank staff to join our team at Penmeneth House. Whether you prefer working through the night or supporting residents during the day, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and happy every single day.

What we’re looking for:
✅ A kind, patient, and respectful approach to care
✅ Willingness to work flexible shifts (mainly nights, with days when needed)
✅ Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
✅ Previous care experience is great — but a positive attitude and willingness to learn matter most! Full training is provided.

What an incredible day at the Penmeneth House Summer Party! ☀️🎉

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff, wonderful residents, supportive families, and our fantastic local community for making the day so special.

A huge shoutout as well to Two For The Road for providing such brilliant entertainment and keeping everyone smiling and dancing!

A massive thank you to Mel Rowe Tinners Cafe & Kitchen Camborne for the home made sausage rolls, pasties & cake 🎂

Thanks to everyone’s generosity and support, we are delighted to share that we raised over £400 — an amazing achievement that will go back into enhancing life at Penmeneth House.

Days like this truly show the strength, warmth, and spirit of our community. Thank you all for being part of it 💛
