The Thugs Golf Society had their monthly golf meeting and competition on Friday 31st July at Sweetwoods Golf Course near East Grinstead with this month’s competition played for the Pat Gallagher Memorial trophy. It would have also been Pat’s birthday.
The competition was also sponsored by P & S Gallagher Funeral Directors with 2 of our Directors (Paul & Eric) taking part. Dane Billings won the monthly medal scoring a very respectable 41 points. Our Managing Director Sue presented the trophy to John Bradbury who won the very close fought competition. Well done John!

Recent news from Hull has understandably raised concerns about the care and standards families should expect from a funeral director. We ourselves are shocked and saddened that this has happened to these families.

We are regularly inspected and voluntarily regulated under the UK Funeral Director Code. Families also have access to an independent complaints process through SAIF, delivered by an externally audited and Chartered Trading Standards Institute-certified body.

We hope these safeguards offer added reassurance that families and their loved ones will be treated with care, dignity and respect.

We are proudly hosting a coffee morning in support of the fantastic work of Parkinson's UK, with all proceeds going to our local Mid Sussex Branch.
There will be a raffle and here are some more of the amazing prizes donated by local businesses: a sports massage from The Health Hub, a bottle of Prossecco from Grape and Grain, a handwoven willow basket from Somerset Willow Coffins, an M & S voucher from D Edwards & Sons to name a few.
