A huge congratulations to, who we Leeds Rhinos fans can now truly call, Sir Kevin Sinfield on his well-deserved knighthood.
What Kevin has achieved goes far beyond sport. Through extraordinary determination, humility, and loyalty, he has helped transform awareness of Motor Neurone Disease (MND), raising millions of pounds and inspiring countless people across the UK and beyond.
His unwavering support for his friend Rob Burrow showed the world the true meaning of friendship, courage, and selflessness. Together, they have left a legacy that will continue to fund research, support families, and bring hope to those affected by MND for generations to come.
At Sozo, this story resonates deeply with us. Richard Holmes, a dear friend of our Founder Sam Vollans, was instrumental in the vision and existence of Sozo Clinic, helping shape what we are today. A clinic and brand meaning “to restore”. Sam remembers sitting with Richard and sharing the concept of community based healthcare him and Richard saying, “you should do it!” He did… and here we are.
Like Rob and Kevin, Richard’s influence continues to be felt every day. Great people leave more than memories… they leave a legacy. They inspire others, create lasting change, and remind us that one person’s actions can make an extraordinary difference.
Today, we celebrate Sir Kevin Sinfield, honour the memory of Robby Robby Burrow and Richard Holmes, and recognise the countless individuals and families affected by MND.
Legacies matter. People matter. Making a difference matters.
