44 years… and a lifetime of memories 💛

Millcroft and Yorklodge Care Homes are not just places of care—they are homes filled with love, laughter, and lives that have touched ours forever.

Over the years, we have welcomed so many beautiful souls into our care. They became more than residents—they became family. Though some are no longer with us, they are never truly gone. Their smiles, their stories, their moments… they live on in our hearts every single day.

We have also been blessed with the families behind them—relatives who came to us in trust and stayed with us in friendship. Your continued support, your visits, your kindness… it means more than words can ever express.

I always say this when I meet new families: we may not offer the finest luxuries, but what we give is something far more precious. We give love. We give compassion. We give a sense of belonging—a true family.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey over these 44 years. You are, and always will be, part of our story.

The residents enjoyed their first ride on the new minibus today, Everyone had a wonderful time taking in the fresh air, laughing while enjoying hot drinks. The outing was a refreshing change of pace, allowing everyone to feel the wind in their hair and enjoy the outdoors together. Many commented on how much they appreciated the opportunity to get out and about, making it a memorable experience for all involved.

We’re delighted to share that our new minibus was delivered today! This exciting addition will allow our residents, including those with limited mobility, to enjoy more outings and fresh air. We are committed to ensuring everyone can take part, and our residents truly look forward to their twice-weekly outings.
