We are a newly established youth Theatre in Education group based in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire. Using real life stories of young people suffering with mental health conditions, we have devised a performance aimed at raising awareness of such issues. Our target audience is young people from 14 upwards, including adults who may be working with those experiencing mental health problems. We would l

ove to have the opportunity to tour local secondary schools to perform and can also deliver practical workshops after the performance in order to raise awareness and tackle the stigma surrounding mental health.

So after 7 years, Nameless Theatre will be no more in its current form as I have a new job! I’ll be working in multiple schools to support them in improving emotional and mental health provision for young people. I set up Nameless to raise awareness of mental health conditions in young people and to challenge the stigma around it. I did it for Bram - my best friend. Another friend had this cardboard cut out made for him to watch the Euros, but I think he was looking out for me too 💙. Once I’m settled in my new role, I hope to carry on Nameless in a community setting, so this page will continue to exist. Thank you to everyone who has seen my play and supported us along the way. It means more than you’ll ever know ###

We’re currently in rehearsals for our new play, aimed at making children consider what is really of value. Money? Possessions? Or family, friends, trust and loyalty? We’ve been working hard in partnership with the amazing Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah from Leeds and hoping to tour in June.
From September we’ll be working on a revival of Taboo with our newbies x
