Drumfork Community Centre in Churchill square Helensburgh.

Our guest is Dr Kathryn Smith a clinical psychologist based at the Lomond’s Clinic. Dr Smith is passionate about enabling parents to feel confident and good about themselves amidst the challenges of parenting. She runs fortnightly classes for parents to learn how to manage when their child is upset, anxious, angry or mis-behaving to name just a few.

Why not come along, enjoy a cuppa and sweet treat and hear from Dr Smith who will share some of what she does.

Would you, or someone you know, like to come on a Podcast: BEHIND THE SCENES OF ADHD FAMILY LIFE? As part of my podcast Truthbook, which goes behind the scenes of family life, I am looking to peel back the layers on the experience of a parent of a child with ADHD, as a parent with ADHD, as a young person with ADHD and as someone involved in working with children/parents where ADHD plays a role. With the aim of helping folk feel less alone, normalising their experience, and getting important conversations out there (beyond the therapy room). Please get in touch if you or someone you know, would like to contribute to the following episodes (working titles)
1. Parenting a child with ADHD
2. Being a parent with ADHD
3. Being a young person with ADHD
4. Working with adult ADHD presentations amongst parents (in a range of capacities e.g. as a therapist, teacher, manager...)
5. Working with ADHD presentations in children (again in a range of capacities e.g. therapist, teacher, coach...)
