We had a fabulous morning in my Porthleven group celebrating our Woman of the Year, fuelled, of course, by some seriously scrummy food tasters ๐ because no celebration is complete without a bit of eating!
We had a raft of fabulous nominees, although some mysteriously disappeared when the camera came out ๐คฃ๐ธ You know who you areโฆ no naming and shaming! ๐๐
We were absolutely thrilled to crown Janet Patterson our Woman of the Year! ๐โค๏ธ
And honestly, this award couldnโt have gone to a more deserving lady.
Yes, Janet has achieved an incredible 3.5 stone weight loss ๐๐๐ but this is about SO much more than the scales. Janet has shown incredible determination, courage and resilience throughout her journey, while always finding the time to support, encourage and cheer on everyone else around her.
Sheโs one of those people who quietly gets on with it, keeps going when things are tough and somehow still has the time to lift everyone else up along the way. โค๏ธ
