💊 Keep Antibiotics Working 💊
Antibiotics are an important medicine, but they don’t work for illnesses caused by viruses such as colds, flu, coughs and most sore throats.
Using antibiotics when they aren’t needed can make bacteria resistant, meaning these medicines may not work when they’re really needed in the future.
This August, we’re supporting the Keep Antibiotics Working campaign by encouraging everyone to:
✅ Only take antibiotics when prescribed by a healthcare professional.
✅ Take them exactly as directed.
✅ Never save antibiotics for later or share them with others.
