The last 12 months have been a bit of a whirlwind.ā£
ā£
New roles, new opportunities, new relationships, new challenges, new standards and new levels of freedom. Alongside all of that has been a quiet letting go of everything that was never meant to come with me.ā£
ā£
Old beliefs? Gone.ā£
Playing small? Not a chance.ā£
Shrinking myself? Absolutely not.ā£
ā£
The thing is, growth isnāt always comfortable. Sometimes it feels like everything is changing at once. The pressure, the uncertainty, the growing pains and the moments where youāre wondering WHAT on earth is going on š
ā£
ā£
Maybe life isnāt taking things away from you. Maybe itās showing you what no longer fits.ā£
ā£
Today I stopped halfway through a walk. Feet in the sand, sea air, sunshine on my face, nowhere to be and nothing demanding my attention.ā£
ā£
Just me.ā£
ā£
And if Iām honest, I find that quite difficult. Iām very good at doing, solving problems, building things and planning the next step. Sitting still and simply being? Thatās a work in progress.ā£
ā£
But standing there, I realised something.ā£
Iāve handled it all. Not perfectly, either.ā£
ā£
Iāve questioned myself, changed my mind, worried about getting it wrong and carried on anyway.ā£
ā£
Because thatās usually how growth works. Not through having all the answers, but through taking the next step and trusting yourself enough to keep moving forward.ā£
ā£
Looking back, thatās all Iāve really done. Just one decision, one challenge and one panicked āweāll figure it outā at a time š
ā£
ā£
And, this year seems to have decided weāre doing that on every possible level š
ā£
ā£
June marks 10 years of GB3.ā£
10 years of showing up.ā£
10 years of learning.ā£
10 years of helping people.ā£
10 years of leading.ā£
ā£
And stepping into this next chapter, I know Iām not the same person who started it all. Thank God for that šā£
ā£
So if life feels uncomfortable, uncertain, or a little bit āwtf is happening?ā right nowā¦ā£
ā£
Maybe you donāt need another plan or another answer. Maybe you just need to trust that youāre far more capable than you give yourself credit for.ā£
ā£
Because the best chapters of my life have all started with a moment where I had absolutely no idea what I was doing š
