When I posted *"He said yes", I did wonder where your minds would go first...
A romantic gesture? A puppy? Some sort of spontaneous life decision?
The truth is that he said yes to doing a HYROX with me 😁
The next London event begins on 2nd December, which just so happens to be my 44th birthday, and I genuinely can't think of a better way to celebrate than proving to myself that I can do something I once thought was completely beyond me.
Now, let's be clear...neither of us are runners. There is a very real possibility that future Bobbie will question every life choice that led to this moment. But that's part of the adventure.
Tuesday's lunch date was spent at the running track and I'm actually feeling really excited about where my body is capable of taking me.
I feel stronger now than I ever have before. Not just physically, but mentally too - And through every version of me, this man has been there. Encouraging me, believing in me, and reminding me what I'm capable of when I forget.
So here's to big goals, scary challenges, and celebrating 4️⃣4️⃣ in true HYROX style 💪🎉
And while we're here...👀
Hey , how do we make absolutely certain we get a place? Because this feels like the perfect birthday present and I've heard the first part of the challenge is getting a place.
