“Movement is a medicine for creating change” ~ Carol Welch

So next time you’re sitting and staring at a screen trying to find the answer, get up, go for a walk, exercise, go for your run or just move, because moving changes your blood flow, brain chemicals and gives your mind some thinking space.

📌 Save this as a reminder for yourself the next time brain fog kicks in or when you start overthinking

I didn’t create The Movement Hacking Project because I wanted to start another movement business.

I created it because, when I needed to understand why my body wasn’t functioning properly, I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I felt there was a piece missing, but I didn’t know what it was.

Nobody was really looking at what happens when one difficult moment, something somebody tells you, something you read or something you decide about yourself starts changing what you do next.

That’s what I wanted to understand.

How your beliefs, your behaviour, your movement and your function all start affecting each other, and how you can start holding back without even realising you’re doing it.

That’s why I created The Movement Hacking Project, and it’s also why I’m speaking about it.

I want to take these conversations further and help people understand that human performance isn’t only about sport.

It’s about what changes in you, what starts affecting your choices and what might help you create more freedom in your movement, your work and your life.

There are no secret steps in that.

Change takes time, and you have to put something into it.

But I think understanding what is really going on gives you a much better place to start.

What does human performance mean for you?

I work with the leg I have because being able to move matters to me

It’s easy to judge yourself by what happened in one high pressure moment

But what happened and what actually changed in you while it was happening aren’t always the same thing

Have you ever had a moment when you knew what to do but then suddenly your head went blank?
