Good morning all. Here is your tarot card of the day and we have another number 5 card.
The Five of Cups is an emotional card because it understands something very human: when we lose something important, it can become almost impossible to notice what is still standing. Disappointment has a way of narrowing our vision. We look at what went wrong and replay it so many times that the rest of the picture disappears.
Maybe you lost a relationship. Maybe an opportunity did not work out. Maybe someone changed. Maybe you made a decision you regret. Maybe life simply did not give you the outcome you had hoped for.
It is okay to grieve that.
You do not have to force yourself to be positive before you are ready. You do not have to pretend that something did not matter just because it ended. Some losses deserve to be felt.
But the Five of Cups also gently asks you to look around when you can.
Not everything is gone.
There may still be people who love you. There may still be opportunities you have not noticed. There may still be parts of yourself that survived the disappointment. Your life may look different now, but different does not automatically mean empty.
Healing often begins when we stop demanding that the past return exactly as it was. You cannot change what happened, but you can decide what you carry forward from it.
One day, you may look back and realize that the thing you thought ended your story was simply the ending of one chapter.

Five of Swords
We have the Five of Swords showing up for our Friday. It’s time to take a small step back to regain some focus. Doing this will help you make a decision on how beneficial your sacrifices are likely to be. Also, it gives you time to think about whether you have fallen into a trap whereby you are being manipulated into helping others achieve their goals at the expense of your own? Today, objectively assess your thoughts and actions, and also the actions of those around you. If what you are doing is not matching what you say and think, then it’s time to dive in to find out why. Having conviction for what you believe in, and backing that up with positive action, even when conflict is looming, is paramount for staying focused and remaining grounded. Actions speak louder than words. Owning your actions, and understanding the consequences of them, may have you re-evaluating how you wish to proceed. Also, observing the actions of others allows you to see if they align with what they profess. If they don’t, have courage and confront them. Just because something has always been done a certain way, doesn’t mean that it’s right. The Universe is also advising you that ego can act like blinders, where you only see in one direction, therefore missing out on the true picture. Time spent in self-assessment and observation today will be time well spent. Remember my friend, you are a force to be reckoned with! ❤️
