University Ready? Make Vaccinations Part of the Checklist

If you have a child starting university this autumn, it's worth reviewing their vaccination history as close living arrangements and shared accommodation can increase exposure to certain infections.

Some to consider include:
* A MenACWY booster, particularly if it's been some years since their school vaccination
* MenB, which isn't routinely offered to teenagers on theNHS (see below)
* MMR and HPV, if either was missed at school
* Flu and Covid vaccines each autumn

Looking after your health is one of the most important investments you can make.

At The Maxwell Practice, our health screening packages are designed to give you a clear picture of your current health through a detailed assessment with an experienced GP.

Unlike many health screening services, your appointment is carried out entirely by a GP. You'll spend over an hour discussing your medical history, having a thorough examination and receiving personalised advice and recommendations.

We offer three levels of health screening:

⚪️ Essential Health Screen – £695�A thorough assessment of your general health with core investigations.

⚪️ Extra Health Screen – £995�Includes everything in the Essential Health Screen, together with a wider range of investigations for a more detailed assessment.

⚪️ Extensive Health Screen – £1,295�Our most detailed health screen, including additional investigations to provide the broadest assessment of your health.
