Last night was The 6 OโClock Club and what fun we had!
Yes, itโs a networking groupโฆ but actually, itโs so much more than that.
Tonight we had beautiful crochet bags brought to the table by , conversations about the struggles of running an independent business, how on earth we get seen online, finding the right people to collaborate with and, of course, the ongoing challenge of trying to keep up with social media when youโre definitely not a โyoungsterโ! ๐
But then the conversation naturally moved on toโฆ life.
And thatโs the bit I love.
Real conversations. Real stories. People getting to know each other beyond โSo, what do you do?โ
One of the ladies said sheโd love to see more of us socially and before we knew it, weโd arranged a social night out! ๐ฅ
Weโd only just met, but there was already a lovely connection.
And I really do believe thatโs where opportunities come from.
Not from forcing a sale or handing out business cards.
From conversations.
From getting to know people.
From supporting each other and simply being curious about one another.
Conversation brings connection. Connection brings opportunity.
And who knows where those connections might lead? โค๏ธ
What a lovely evening. Thank you to everyone who came along and Iโm already looking forward to the next one! Make sure you follow for the next date in September!
