How spectacular is this floral tribute 🌸 The brief was English grown flowers, feminine and elegant, and in delicate pastel shades of which Hillmans' Florist delivered on every aspect and more!

The service was held at St Mary's, Kentchurch.

The past few weeks we've conducted funeral services, supporting families not only locally in Ewyas Harold and Kilpeck, but just over the border in Llanfair Cilgoed, and the Forest of Dean 🤍

Recently we had the privilege of being at the beautiful Downside Abbey in Bath conducting the funeral of the late Abbot Charles.
The Lord Abbot Nicholas led the service of requiem mass and committal with many family, friends and monastic community in attendance. A service was also held at Belmont Abbey the day before.

We feel privileged to support the monastery and families through these important moments and help create a farewell that is as personal and meaningful as the person being remembered 🤍

Some wonderful saxophone and clarinet tones echoed through Humber Woodland of Remembrance yesterday whilst the 200 mourners gathered to celebrate, and say goodbye to a remarkable and unforgettable lady. Her ethos was helping, giving and being kind to everyone she met, and to nurture the beautiful world we live in.

Caroline and I had a day out today visiting the National Funeral Exhibition at Stoneleigh Park. I tried my hand at participating in weaving a willow coffin! Lots of new ideas collated, goody bags received, and delicious hot chocolate drunk!

Today we conducted a service of Committal at Hereford Crematorium followed by a service of Thanksgiving at St John's Methodist Church, St Owen Street, Hereford.
The Church was beautifully decorated with many knitted items Brenda had made for her friends and family.
The 'Nattering Knitters' knitted hearts for each person to take home in memory of Brenda. Over a hundred in congregation was testimony to the love and respect everyone had for a very talented and kind lady who will be so very dearly missed x

A quaker-style service today at Humber Woodland of Remembrance. A stunning homegrown natural floral tribute by Fleur Amelia adorned the beautifully crafted handmade willow basket 🤍

With kind permission of the family, I'm able to share these photographs.
A plain white cardboard coffin lovingly and artistically transformed into something truly meaningful and bespoke by a very talented family.
I was delighted to help facilitate their vision and assist with delivering and collecting the coffin, so they could do this one last thing to reflect their everlasting love for the special person in their life who they love so very dearly 🩷🧡💛

It's been a privilege to support, care and guide so many lovely families the past few months.
We feel it is such an honour when a family chooses 'Cherished' to act as guardian to look after their loved one and conduct their farewell.
Receiving these beautiful cards and extremely kind and generous gifts from families leaves us totally speechless!🤗🤍
