We're delighted to share that Broomy Hill Nursing Home has been named a finalist for the Hereford Times Community Awards in the Mental Health Award category - for the second year running!

This award recognises individuals or teams who specialise in mental health care, helping to improve the lives of residents and their families.

This week’s Curiosity Champions saw Regan lead the group in recreating a pumping heart in a jar. Residents filled their jars with water and food colouring before adding a balloon and creating valves using straws. When they pressed the balloon, the red liquid pumped out just like a beating heart! Another brilliant experiment that captured everyone’s curiosity and got everyone involved.❤️

Our Curiosity Champions got a little messy today as they experimented with foam balloons! Using water and washing-up liquid, they created lots of bubbly foam and had great fun watching the balloons burst and the foam spill everywhere 🎈
