What a wonderful day we had at our Family Day. It was lovely to see our residents, families, and friends spending time together and creating such a warm atmosphere.

Yesterday Di enjoyed a shopping trip to Hereford, visiting a few of her favourite shops and stopping for a coffee at M&S. She treated herself to a few things and is already planning her next shopping trip! 😁

Today, our residents enjoyed a seaside-themed lunch at The Weir, with traditional fish and chips followed by delicious ice cream for dessert.
The familiar flavours sparked conversations about seaside holidays, favourite beaches, and happy memories from years gone by. It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles and shared stories. 🏖️

It was a pleasure to welcome We Are Farming Minds to The Weir Nursing Home for their monthly One Foot in the Grain gathering.

As our Charity of the Year, we were proud to host this community event, which brings people together in a welcoming environment while highlighting the importance of mental health support within the farming community.

Our thanks go to Sam and the We Are Farming Minds team for everything they do to support local farmers and their families. We'd also like to thank our fantastic kitchen team for preparing a delicious selection of homemade cakes and scones, and everyone who helped make the day such a wonderful success.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back again soon!
