A Little Help Can Make a Big Difference – Our Paediatric Service Clinic☀️

Our Paediatric Service Clinic is here to support children and their families who may need extra help managing a child's illness, behavioural concerns, emotional wellbeing, or family challenges. We work alongside families to provide practical advice, guidance, and reassurance in a caring and supportive environment.

The service offers support with:
-Managing illness and coping with day-to-day challenges.
-Understanding and addressing behavioural concerns.
--Providing practical family support and guidance.
Promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience.
-Taking a strengths-based approach to build on each child's and family's unique abilities.

Our aim is to help every child and every family feel supported, working together to improve children's health, wellbeing, and confidence. Families are encouraged to get in touch with the clinic or speak to their GP for further information and support.

Check Your Child’s Vaccinations Are Up to Date 🖤

Vaccinations are the safest and most effective way to protect your child against serious illnesses such as measles, mumps, whooping cough, meningitis and polio.

Keeping your child’s vaccinations up to date not only protects them, but also helps protect vulnerable members of the community.

If your child has missed any routine vaccinations, it is never too late to catch up.

Please take a moment to check your child’s Red Book or NHS App to make sure they are fully vaccinated for their age.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Reculver Road, Sweechbridge Road, Heart in Hand Road, Margate Road, Margate Road Interchange, Margate Road, Mickleburgh Hill and vice versa.

Please be mindful to plan your journey ahead of your appointment to allow plenty of time for travel and parking.

We’re proud to offer a range of additional services designed to support the physical, emotional, and social well being of our patients. ​

These include cancer support groups, bereavement sessions, “Head in the Game” football drop-ins focused on mental fitness. We also host friendly walks, table tennis talks, yoga and netball sessions —creating opportunities for connection, movement, and conversation.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to holistic care and community engagement beyond the consulting room.​
