A facial is never just about your skin. 🌿
Of course, I'm looking at what your skin needs - its barrier, hydration, congestion, sensitivity and how it's responding.
But I'm also paying attention to you.
How you're feeling.
Where you're holding tension.
How you've been sleeping.
If life has felt particularly stressful lately.
Whether something has changed and what might be sitting behind that change.
Because our skin doesn't exist separately from the rest of us.
Stress, sleep, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle and so many other factors can influence how our skin looks, feels and responds.
That's why my treatments have never been about simply applying products to your face.
They're about understanding what I'm seeing, listening to what you tell me, and choosing what your skin, and you, need on that particular day.
Sometimes that means more active skin work.
Sometimes it means simplifying and supporting.
Sometimes it means more massage, warmth, stillness and giving the nervous system space to settle.
And often, it's a little bit of both.
For me, looking after the skin is about working with it rather than fighting against it, supporting healthy skin while also considering the person underneath.
Because healthy skin is important.
But so is how you feel along the way. 🌿
