Based in the county town of Hertford, it is the oldest of the Trust’s four hospital sites. The original hospital was built in the early 1800s and in 2003 work began on the development of a brand new hospital on the same site. The new £8.5 million facility opened its doors to patients in November 2004. The hospital provides a wide range of outpatients, ante/post natal, diagnostic and therapeutic se

rvices to the people of south-east Hertfordshire. It is open Monday to Friday, except on bank holidays, between 8.00am and 6.00pm.

- Apply sun cream before going out in the sun 🧴
- Avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours ☀️
- Dress children in light, loose-fitting clothing 👕🩳
- Prioritise shaded spots rather than areas in full-sun 🌳🍉
- Ensure they stay hydrated and drink plenty of water 💧
- Keep your home cool 🏡🧊🌡️

Small steps can make a big difference in keeping infants and children safe from the heat and ensuring they can enjoy the sun, safely.
