Roma Holocaust Memorial Day - Today we remember the hundreds of thousands of Roma and Sinti people who were persecuted and murdered during the Holocaust.
Roma Holocaust Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the importance of compassion, inclusion and standing together against discrimination, prejudice and hate.
By remembering the past, we can help build a future where everyone feels respected, valued and safe to be themselves. Small acts of kindness, understanding and acceptance help create stronger, more connected communities for everyone.
Take a moment today to learn more, remember those who lost their lives and stand in solidarity with Roma communities.

The summer holidays are a chance for children and young people to recharge, explore and make memories. πŸ’š
Wellbeing doesn't always have to mean expensive days out. A walk in the park, meeting friends, visiting a local playground or having a picnic can all boost mood and help families reconnect.
Small moments outdoors can make a big difference to mental wellbeing.

Today is National Schizophrenia Awareness Day, an opportunity to raise awareness, challenge stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health. πŸ’š
Schizophrenia is a serious mental health condition that affects how a person thinks, feels and experiences the world. While it most commonly develops in late adolescence or early adulthood, early support and understanding can make a real difference.
Talking openly about mental health helps break down misconceptions and encourages young people to seek help if they are struggling. As parents, carers and trusted adults, listening without judgement and creating safe spaces for conversations is incredibly important.
If you're worried about a child or young person's mental health, support is available.
Find advice and local resources through Just Talk Hertfordshire:
