💜 A Wonderful Day Among the Lavender 💜

There’s nothing quite like a day out in the sunshine, surrounded by beautiful scenery and even better company!

This week, some of our residents enjoyed a delightful trip to the stunning Hitchin Lavender Fields, where they wandered amongst the vibrant purple blooms, admired the breathtaking countryside views, and soaked up the glorious summer weather, all while breathing in the calming fragrance of the lavender 🪻

Of course, no visit would be complete without treating ourselves to the famous lavender ice cream – a unique and delicious experience that certainly went down a treat! 🍦💜 From smiles and laughter to wonderful conversations and plenty of photo opportunities, it was a day filled with special moments and cherished memories.

At Bentley House, we believe in creating meaningful experiences that bring joy, encourage connection, and support wellbeing. Outings like these give our residents the opportunity to explore, reminisce, and make new memories together while enjoying everything our local community has to offer.

Do you love gardening and have a few hours to spare?🌸

At Bentley House, our gardens are much more than beautiful spaces. They are places where friendships are made, memories are shared and residents enjoy everything from a morning coffee to an afternoon in the sunshine.

We're looking to welcome a small team of volunteer gardeners who would enjoy spending time in our gardens, sharing their passion and helping residents who love gardening to continue enjoying this wonderful hobby.

Whether you'd like to help with planting, pruning or simply spend time chatting about all things gardening, we'd love to hear from you.

At Bentley House, wellbeing isn’t always about grand events. Sometimes it’s about a peaceful afternoon, some creative activity, good company, and the opportunity to relax and enjoy the moment.
