Running Prep with Tim 👇
This one looks simple, but there’s a lot going on. Running Prep is an amazing Reformer exercise and it feels good and it works so much more than it lets on.
**Hips.** It opens up mobility through the hip so you can move efficiently through the joint. When the hips move well, everything above and below has to work less hard — stiff hips ask other areas to compensate, and that’s often where pain and niggling injuries creep in.
**Core.** It asks your core to stay switched on and controlled throughout — the kind of real, responsive strength that shows up in everyday movement. Lifting, carrying, getting up off the floor.
**Feet and ankles.** This is where Running Prep really earns its name. It challenges the feet and ankles to work through a proper range, and that pays off all the way up the chain — because weakness down here often shows itself higher up as lower back or SI joint pain.
So while it might not look like much from the outside, it’s doing a serious amount of good. 💜
Save this one and give it a go next time you’re in.
