Another brilliant achievement from Rose Ayling-Ellis! By incorporating British Sign Language (BSL) into one of their many stunning routines, Rose and her partner Giovanni Pernice have caused an incredible surge in people applying to learn BSL. The training provider BSL Courses saw 1,200 people apply in a space of time in which they would ordinarily be contacted by roughly 20 applicants. This is a wonderful result of the hearing-impaired visibility that Rose is bringing to our screens every week and we couldn’t be happier!

Children can have minor hearing issues that easily go unnoticed, which can quickly lead to them not performing at school as well as they could. Being slow to pick up on their phonics or not paying attention in class are classic signs that they may be having difficulty hearing. Whatever your concerns, have their hearing tested with The Hearing Practice as soon as possible so when they go back to school they’re all ears 👂
