Residents loved making waffles with fresh 🍓 🍌 🫐 🍏 topped with ice cream everyone enjoyed them, not a clean plate in the house 🤤 ❤️

We all love ducks at the Hazelwell!
So we read some poems and did some drawings 🦆

Then it was time to reminisce, some of our residents were willing to share photos of their younger years and it was so special listening to them talking about their lives ❤️

We have all enjoyed a fun filled busy day at Hazelwell
delivering Newspapers and chatting . This afternoon we listened to our favourite songs and enjoyed a dance to the music 💃🎉🎶🎤🎵📻

We took advantage of it being a little cooler today and headed down to New Brighton.
A nice stroll along the promenade, then enjoyed a lovely lunch while listening to a live band at the floral pavilion 🎼

Today has been all about relaxing in the shade with plenty of refreshments.

Talking about the solar eclipse, we read a beautiful Poem The Moon by Emily Dickinson, and it’s the Start of our new chess club if anyone wants to join us 😁

HAZELFEST 2026!

What a fun filled wholesome day we had 🥰

Our theme this year was around the world and we were lucky to taste some amazing home made Indian cuisine and see some of our staff looking beautiful in their traditional dresses.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a full day of music, games, drinks and very tasty food.

We hope you had as much fun as our residents and staff did.
