Yesterday morning we had some very special visitors to Elm Bank Care Home - Wish and Blondie from KL PONY Therapy!

​The gentle nature of the ponies brought instant calm, big smiles, and plenty of happy chatter as residents stroked their soft coats and shared fond memories of animals from their past.

Moments like these remind us just how powerful animal therapy is for lifting spirits and bringing people together. 💞

​A huge thank you to Katy and her ponies for giving us such a heartwarming morning. You certainly stole a few hearts here! 🐾✨

On Wednesday we had a fantastic time participating in an energetic session of seated ball games and target practice with SMILE Through Sport! ⚾️🎳

​Adapted sports are such a brilliant way to stay active, boost coordination, and—most importantly—have fun together. From impressive throws to plenty of giggles, everyone got involved and showed off their skills!

​A massive thank you to Smile Through Sport for bringing so much energy, positivity, and joy to our home. We’re already looking forward to the next session. 💞

The Elm Bank Spin-a-Thon has officially come to an end, and together we have smashed our 174-mile Coast to Coast goal! 🏆🎉

​The atmosphere in the home over the last two days has been electric, filled with amazing teamwork, laughter, and so much community spirit.👏

​From our incredible staff pedalling non-stop in the foyer, to our amazing resident superstars Anne & Howard, and every single person who stopped by to cheer, donate, or pledge—you made this event unforgettable. 💞

​The team spirit, sore legs, and overwhelming support have all been 100% worth it for our residents. What a fantastic community we have here at Elm Bank! ❤️🌟🚴‍♂️ 💞

What an absolutely incredible start to our 174-Mile Coast to Coast Spin-a-Thon! 👏👏

​Thanks to our unstoppable staff and brilliant resident cheerleaders, we have pedalled an amazing 100 miles today alone. We are officially more than halfway across the country without leaving Elm Bank's foyer! 🎉

​A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by today to cheer us on, offer words of encouragement, or pledge their sponsorship. The energy in the foyer has been fantastic and kept those legs moving all day long! 🚴🚴‍♀️

​What's next?

We have 74 miles left to go to reach our target for the Residents' Fund!

​It's not too late to back our riders—sponsorship forms are still available in the foyer if you’d like to pledge your support. Every single pledge helps us fund special day trips, events, and activities for our wonderful residents.
