Patricia and Sula dropped by to spend some quality time with our residents today and they spent the afternoon doing what they do best: spreading unconditional love, comfort, and plenty of tail wags. 🐾🥰

​From quiet cuddles to shared stories about past pets, the lounge was absolutely buzzing with smiles. It’s truly incredible how much happiness a furry friend and a warm conversation can bring.

​A huge thank you to Patricia and Sula for their kindness today, and to Wag and Company for the amazing work they do across our region. You're welcome back anytime! ❤️

On Thursday, the wonderful Christine Rosemond joined us for a live performance that was so much more than just a concert.

Between her songs, Christine shared touching tales of wartime sweethearts, prompting our residents to reminisce and share some of their own cherished love stories from years gone by. ❤️

​There wasn’t a dry eye in the lounge during her deeply emotional rendition of "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square." It was an incredibly poignant, beautiful moment that perfectly captured the spirit of remembrance, gratitude, and love. 🎶🕊️

​A massive thank you to Christine for bringing her incredible storytelling and beautiful voice to our home, and to our staff for putting together such an unforgettable day for our residents and their guests.👏👏

Our residents at Elm Bank Care Home proved they've still got all the moves during our latest session with SMILE Through Sport today!

​We filled the afternoon with a variety of inclusive, seated ball games that had everyone reaching, throwing, and cheering each other on. 🏀🥎

There is nothing quite like a bit of friendly competition to get the energy flowing and the room buzzing! 🎈✨

✨ The countdown is officially ON! ✨

​Our lovely residents at Elm Bank Care Home are bursting with excitement because on Friday, July 17th, we are heading off on a grand day out to the incredible Beamish Museum! 🚌💨

​From stepping back in time on the traditional trams to grabbing a sweet treat from the 1900s sweet shop, everyone is looking forward to a wonderful day of reminiscing, laughing, and making brand-new memories together.

​For many of our residents, Beamish holds a very special place in their hearts, and we can't wait to share these moments with them.
