This is notification that our new on line system Accurx is up and running and can be accessed via our website www.longfordstreetmedicalcentre.co.uk and has also been added to the NHS App

The PATCHS on-line system will NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE AFTER FRIDAY 31st JULY

Patients are encouraged to use Accurx to submit any non-urgent medical problems, prescription requests, referral/results queries, fit note requests, travel vaccinations

You can also access your medical records, letters and results through the NHS App

❗Important update

From 27 May 2026, we’ll be changing the way you contact us online.

Our current PATCHS system will be replaced by Accurx - a secure online service already used by many GP practices across the UK.

You will still be able to submit requests in the same way, either through our website (where the PATCHS page will be replaced by Accurx) or via the NHS App. 🖥️

Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by our team and determine the best next step.

You can use Accurx for:
• Non-urgent medical concerns or symptoms
• Medical questions
• Fit notes
• Test result queries
• Administrative requests

Spring Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign 2026.

Soon we will be sending out invitations to book your spring COVID-19 vaccination appointment, starting from April. This season’s vaccine will be offered to:

Adults aged 75 and over

Residents in older adult care homes

Individuals aged 6 months and over who are severely immunosuppressed

If you or someone you care for falls into one of these groups, please keep an eye out for your invitation. Getting vaccinated helps protect you and those around you.

In February, 119 patients failed to attend their appointments. That’s almost 20 hours of GP and nurse time that could have been offered to someone else. Please let us know if you can’t attend.
