As the warmer weather continues, bites and stings become much more common. While most settle on their own, some can become infected and may need treatment.

Keep an eye out for signs of infection such as:
🔴 Increasing redness
🔥 Warmth around the area
⬆️ Swelling
💧 Pus or discharge

If you notice any of these symptoms, don't ignore them.

From 20th July, Internet Pharmacy will be offering the NHS MenB (Meningitis B) vaccination for eligible students.

Meningococcal disease can spread more easily where students live, study and socialise together. Vaccination is an important way to help protect against serious MenB disease.

📬 If you're eligible, you should receive an NHS invitation letter with details of how to book your appointment through the NHS National Booking System.

If you have any questions about the service or your eligibility, our pharmacy team will be happy to help.
