Parveens Annual Cancer Event for Scannappeal and Imran Khan Cancer Appeal
As you will all agree the work done by Parveen Sheikh for Scannappeal and Imran Khan was outstanding, courageous and unforgettable, as was she. We hope this effort will continue as she wished with the help, love and support that we have been receiving for the last 15 years. We would like to continue hel
ping Scannapeal with the ‘Cancer Fighting Fund’, as well as the Imran Khan Hospital in Pakistan where most patients are too poor to afford treatment. For those who are unfamiliar with the work previously organised Parveen and her friends, we have held bazaars, barbeques, parties, raffles and a stall at the Wycombe Mela. The most successful of these is the 5 mile sponsored walk, which is an annual summer event, starting from Wycombe General Hospital and ending in Rye park for a great big picnic! We hope you will be able to support us on our 15 year milestone and future events in coming years Insh’Allah.
