📚BACK TO SCHOOL! 📚

So the summer holidays are nearly at an end! Where did those weeks fly to🤷🏻‍♀️

We wish everyone starting school, college or university over the next few weeks the very best of luck!

Don’t forget that changes in your child’s vision can sometimes affect how they learn and concentrate at school so if they are complaining of tired eyes, headaches, blurred or double vision, or are struggling to read the board, please do give us a call and we can get them booked in for a sight test.

Remember that children under 16, and those aged 16–18 in full-time education, are entitled to a sight test funded by the NHS.

children don’t need to know their letters to have an eye examination. They are never too young to have their first eye examination? 👀
It is often necessary for them to have an eye test every 6 to 12 months as their eyes change more frequently as they develop and grow 👶🧒👨‍🦰

Don’t forget to take care & watch the eclipse safely! 😎

On 12 August, a partial solar eclipse will be visible across the UK. Ordinary sunglasses - no matter how dark - allow harmful solar radiation to reach the retina and should not be used to view an eclipse.

If you want to use eclipse glasses make sure they are genuine with specially designed filters that meet the international safety standard.
