Today saw the passing of one of my most wonderful clients, who over the last few years I also got to call my friend. (One of the perks of my job)
A lady who was a tour de force … who had an incredible career in the water industry and who was awarded the freedom of the City of London.
I’m sorry we never got to drive sheep over tower bridge (something bestowed upon those who are honoured this way)
I shall miss you so very much. I shall miss our chats. We laughed together, we cried together. You used to say ‘you’re a pal’ but C, you were mine. Tom and Dad will miss you too.
I hope you’re up there with a large glass of Chardonnay…. be free now my friend💔💕🥂✨

🎉Happy New Year All🎉

Well, here we are in 2024. Maybe we’re setting new goals for ourselves, diets, lifestyle choices, dry January, collagen or no collagen, fasting etc etc …. So many things out there to tempt us into ‘a new you’.

And some of these are great! (I’m trying collagen and bone broth 🤫)

But during these last winter months where nature is still resting, the busyness of Christmas and New Year has past, the joy, the hope of what a New Year may bring is with us.

My warm, cosy and calm treatment room is open again and I’m so looking forward to welcoming back my lovely clients, old and new.

Chaps, if you haven’t tried it before then give it a go. I have several lovely men who enjoy their treatments too.

Hello you lovely lot!

Well, that’s my surgery done. Finally!
🎉
It’s sooo painful but it’s healing pain so I can deal with that! 🙂

It’s still going to be a little while before I’m back up and running (literally!) but just wanted to thank you all for your patience, your kind words and encouraging messages. It means huge amounts to me and I feel truly blessed to have such wonderful clients. 🥰

Dear All,

I have been far too quiet on here for far too long!

I’m afraid to say my back has decided to cause me further problems. I’m currently stuck at home awaiting surgery at the end of the month (if not sooner) unable to do very much at all (the children are learning how to clean bathrooms!!)

It does mean that for the next few months, I am out of action BUT the type of surgery I’m having should put an end to any future issues 🙏

I can assure you all and in the words of The Terminator, “I’ll be back”! Better and stronger than ever. 💪

Thank you all for standing by me & for the kind words of support I’ve received already. ☺️

The thought of welcoming all you lovely clients back keeps me going 😊
See you on the other side 🥰👣

Wishing all my lovely clients a Happy New Year ….. but below is what I truly mean by that sentiment …. ✨

When I say ‘happy new year’,
I'm not for a moment,
expecting this to occur,
for that is not possible…
a year must be all things.

Happiness must come and go,
like the tides and the winds,
just as sadness,
and all the emotions in between.

When I say ‘happy new year’,
I'm really wishing you,
a baseline of peace,
of gratitude.

Because if you can sit with these things,
for the most part,
happiness will thrive,
when it does arrive,
and sadness will know its place in the mix.

If you can nourish these things,
daily,
you will also grow hope,
for it flourishes in such soil.

And hope is the key,
to this enigmatic state
of ‘happiness’ we seek.

When I say ‘happy new year’,
I’m really wishing you more happy days,
than sad days,
more joy than misery,
more laughter than tears…
and the wisdom to accept,
that they all belong.

Happy new year, my friends.

I’m sure a lot of us will be glad to see the back of 2021, I am for one! A very different New Years Eve to the one I’d hoped for (darn Covid!) but wishing you all a Happy and Healthy New Year. *UPDATE* I have been completely overwhelmed and humbled by the kindness I have been shown over this last couple of months. I feel utterly blessed to have some incredible friends and family. The food parcels, the gifts, the flowers, the positive words I have received & continue to receive have made me feel such enormous love ❤️ The road to recovery is going to take the full 6 weeks. I’m still to regain the feeling back in my lower left leg/foot but with physio I’m hopeful of a good long term outcome.

I shall be re-opening in the New Year and I cant wait to welcome you all back 🙏

*A little update* so surgery on my back is done and now begins the recuperation to get me back to seeing all you lovely, thoughtful kind folk. (I’m writing from my hospital bed )
I’m hoping the sun has set on my health issues and a new dawning won’t be too long in coming but certainly won’t be for a few of weeks. I miss you all but so appreciate all the love and kindness that has been shown, not just to me but my family too. Sending love and light to you all 👣👐🏻✨ 💪🥰
