Yes….. the Vitamin Infusion Facial is pretty chic ✨

But what I love most about this treatment is that it goes beyond the post-facial glow.

I’m much more interested in skin longevity than quick fixes.

Supporting healthy, resilient skin that functions well and looks its best for years to come. That means working consistently with the skin, supporting its health and using evidence led ingredients and technologies rather than chasing whatever promises the quickest transformation.

Because often what promises the quickest transformation for that post facial glow doesn’t actually support long term skin health - it’s all for the aesthetic!

Every Environ Facial starts with a consultation and skin analysis so I can tailor the treatment to YOUR skin. It’s not a one size fits all. I then use Environs technologies to enhance ingredient delivery alongside all the lovely relaxing touches that make a facial feel like a proper treat.

Because I don’t think you should have to choose between relaxation and results.

You can leave looking fresh, hydrated and glowing, while knowing your treatment is also part of the longer term plan of caring for your skin.

A conversation I’ll never forget 🤍

This week, one of my regular clients came in for her monthly facial.

As I was getting everything ready, she was telling me all about her holiday. Then, completely out of the blue, she said:

“Because of you, I felt so confident on holiday.”

She probably doesn’t realise just how much those words meant to me.

What makes it even more special is that she first came to see me just a few days after I made one of the biggest decisions in my business.

At the beginning of this year, I chose to stop offering all of my other beauty treatments and dedicate my business solely to skincare.

I’ll be honest—I remember lying in bed wondering if I’d made the right decision. It felt scary to walk away from services that had been part of my business for years.

But deep down, I knew where my passion truly was.

It wasn’t about offering more treatments.

It was about helping women understand their skin, feel confident in it, and know exactly what it needs.

I knew that if I wanted to build the business I dreamed of, I had to give that passion my full attention. I had to invest my time, my energy and my heart into becoming the very best at helping women achieve healthy, confident skin.

So when she said those few words this week, it reminded me that I did make the right decision.

Because whilst I absolutely love helping women improve their skin...

Helping them feel confident enough to enjoy moments like their holiday without having to think about their skin or skincare.

That’s the real reason I do what I do. 🤍

To every client who’s trusted me, every person who’s recommended me, shared my content or followed along over the last five years….. thank you 🥹❤️

You’ve helped me build more than just a business.

You’ve helped me build a future for me and my daughter, doing something I genuinely love every single day, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that.

17 years ago, I packed up my life and moved away from home, not really knowing where the journey would take me.

Before that, I was always dreaming up little business ideas. Some worked for a while, some didn’t, but I never stopped believing that one day I’d build something that truly felt like me.

I don’t think that younger version of me could ever have imagined this.

Five years on, I still have huge dreams for That Healthy Skin Girl, but today I’m allowing myself to stop for a moment and feel incredibly proud of how far we’ve come.

Here’s to the next chapter… And celebrating five years with something very special tomorrow. 🤍

Five years ago I thought my role was to just help women find great skincare and treatments.

Today, I know it’s much more than that.

Over the years I’ve treated hundreds of women, and whilst no two skins are the same, one thing comes up time and time again.

Confusion.

Women feel overwhelmed by the endless products, ingredients, trends and advice, and left wondering what does my skin actually need to be its best.

But healthy skin isn’t just about finding that ‘miracle’ product.

It’s about understanding your skin.

Your hormones, lifestyle, stress, nutrition, skin barrier and then choosing the right skincare to support it.

That’s why consultations have become the heart if what I do.

Because when you understand your skin and the changes it goes through, you cut through the noise and stop wasting money, time and energy on products that were never right for you in the first place.

As That Healthy Skin Girl turns five on Saturday, I’ve been reflecting on how much my business has evolved in that time, and honestly… I think it’s revolves because women need clarity now more than ever.

And that reflection has inspired something really special I’ll be sharing on Saturday 💖🥳

On Friday, That Healthy Skin Girl turns FIVE 💖

Five years. 🤯

It’s made me stop and think about how much has changed.

When I first started, I was Lizi Beauty & Wellbeing, offering a range of beauty treatments. Whilst I loved it, I slowly realised the part I was most passionate about was skin.

Probably because of my own skin journey. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, trying everything and not knowing who to trust, before finally realising skincare can actually be simple.

I love the detective work, the conversations and helping women understand what their skin truly needs.

Over the last five years, my business has evolved… but so has the skincare industry.

More products.
More trends.
More conflicting advice.
More “skinfluencers” and celebrities telling women they need another serum, another active ingredient or another miracle product.

Now we have AI filters, heavily edited images and constant messages telling women they should be trying to look younger.

It’s overwhelming. It makes us believe we’re getting it wrong, not doing enough or worrying about things that aren’t even problems. 😅

When clients first come to me, they’re often over-exfoliating, layering too many actives or simply not giving their skin what it actually needs.

That’s why my philosophy changed.

I don’t want to add to the noise.

I want women to understand their skin, know what’s normal, understand why it changes through their 30s, 40s and beyond, and feel confident in the choices they’re making.

Because healthy skin that ages well isn’t about chasing trends or perfection.

It’s about supporting your skin, understanding your body and feeling confident in your own skin at every stage of life.

Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of how That Healthy Skin Girl has evolved because it finally reflects exactly why I started this journey.
