The Portmill Surgery The Portmill Surgery is an NHS GP practice based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

The surgery comprises a dedicated team of GP’s, nurses and receptionists as well as a nurse practitioner, pharmacist, physio, midwife and managerial/admin team.

eConsult is experiencing a technical issue and is currently unavailable. We have been in contact with the providers who are working on a solution. Unfortunately, we will not be able to switch eConsults back on today.

Please phone the surgery if you feel it is urgent.

We hope this issue will be resolved by Monday morning.

eConsuult is experiencing a technical issue and is currently unavailable. The provider's latest update has said it should be back online around 9am.

Please call the surgery for anything urgent, otherwise please wait for eConsult to come back online.

We have had a power cut at the surgery which has temporarily turned off our systems. If you have an appointment booked today, please attend the surgery as normal. If you require urgent medical attention please contact 111 or attend the urgent treatment centre. We will communicate when our system are back online and are able to receive eConsults and book patients in for appointments.
