Wellbeing at Heart

Wellbeing at Heart Holistic Therapies including energy work, crystals, trauma release, EFT, meditation, wellbeing circles, palliative support and various workshops

Positive mental health and wellbeing is the most precious gift we can give ourselves and those we care about. In the same way that we look after our physical health, we must remember to take care of our emotional and mental health, as the connection between our mind, body and spirit is crucial in our understanding of how we may manifest pain. All the family can benefit from holistic therapies and some are particularly helpful for children who may be experiencing emotional distress and anxiety.

Wellbeing isn't about having everything mapped out. 🤍

Sometimes, wellbeing looks like pausing for a moment and taking a really honest look at where you are. It can mean reassessing what feels right, what no longer fits, and what you might need to change.

We can put so much pressure on ourselves to have a plan, to know what's coming next, and to keep moving forward. But sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is stop, listen to ourselves, and allow things to evolve naturally.

Some chapters come to an end, and that doesn't mean you've failed. Sometimes it simply means you've grown, changed, or realised that something no longer fits the person you are becoming.

Closing a chapter can create space for something new. A new direction, a new perspective, or even a completely unexpected beginning.

You don't have to have all the answers today. You are allowed to pause, reassess, change direction, and take your time discovering what comes next.

Your wellbeing isn't found in having everything figured out. Sometimes it's found in trusting yourself enough to let go of what no longer feels right and making space for what might. 🤍

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about change, and how often we resist it because we’re frightened of what might come next. I know I’ve certainly done that.

Change can feel scary. Letting go of what’s familiar, stepping into something new, and not knowing exactly where it will lead can bring up so many questions and doubts. What if it doesn’t work? What if I get it wrong? What if I regret it?

But I’m learning that we don’t always need to know what comes next.

Sometimes we just need to trust that where we are being drawn is worth exploring.
I’ve made some pretty big changes in my own life, and I’ve had moments where I’ve absolutely questioned whether I was doing the right thing. Leaving a career I had known for so many years and building something completely different took courage, and there have been plenty of moments of uncertainty along the way.

But when you love what you do, when something feels aligned with who you are and what matters to you, that love can become bigger than the fear.

The fear is still there sometimes. I don’t think embracing change means never being scared. I think it means feeling the fear and choosing not to let it make every decision for you.

I’m learning to embrace the unknown a little more. To trust the next step without needing to see the whole path. To allow things to change, evolve and unfold in ways I couldn't have planned.

Because sometimes the things we are most afraid to leave behind are exactly what make space for something we could never have imagined.

And perhaps we don’t need to know what comes next.

Perhaps we just need to trust ourselves enough to take the next step. 🤍

Whether you need quiet, conversation, energy healing, community, or simply somewhere to breathe, there's space for you here. 🤍

Because what supports one person might not be what another needs, and that's okay.

Your wellbeing journey is your own.

At Wellbeing at Heart, I want you to feel comfortable being exactly where you are, without pressure, judgement, or the expectation to fit into someone else's idea of what wellbeing should look like.

Whatever that looks like for you, you're welcome here. 🤍

Something you may not know about Wellbeing at Heart… 🤍

It’s about so much more than Reiki.

Yes, Reiki is a big part of what I offer, but my passion for wellbeing is something much broader, it’s about creating different ways for people to pause, connect, learn, explore and feel supported.

✨ Reiki & energy work
🥁 Drumming & sound healing
🌿 Meditation & mindfulness
🤍 Bespoke wellbeing courses
📚 Education & wellbeing workshops
🌸 Community support
✨ Women’s circles

Because wellbeing doesn't look the same for everyone.

That's why wellbeing is at the heart of everything I do.

I'm Amanda, and I'm here to offer a space where you can explore what wellbeing means to you, in a way that feels comfortable, supportive and completely your own. 🤍

If you've only known Wellbeing at Heart for Reiki, perhaps it's time to discover what else is here. 🌿

You don't need to sit in a room full of strangers to experience wellbeing. 🤍

For some people a group setting feels comforting, but for others it can feel overwhelming, uncomfortable, or simply not like them.

I believe wellbeing should feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable, not like something you have to force yourself into.

That's why my group sessions are kept small and the spaces are thoughtfully created around the people attending.

Whether you're coming with a friend, a partner, family member, or simply want a smaller, more intimate experience, there are options to make your time here feel right for you.

Because support isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither should the space you receive it in. 🤍

Maybe this is your sign. 🤍

Your sign to slow down, stop putting yourself last, and ask for support before everything feels too much.

So often, we wait. We somehow convince ourselves that we need to be really struggling before we're allowed to ask for help.

You are allowed to ask for help when things are simply feeling a little harder than usual.

Perhaps this is your gentle reminder that you don't have to wait until it's too much. 🤍

This time last year, I was birthing something very special. 🤍

A year ago, I spent a beautiful day creating my own medicine drum, choosing the frame, working with the hide, weaving each piece together, and setting intentions into something that would become so much more than an instrument.

I chose an egg-shaped frame, symbolic of new life and creation, and an earthy tone that felt deeply connected to the land. A hidden crystal was placed at its heart, holding a quiet intention within it.
At the time, I knew I was creating something meaningful, but I don't think I realised quite how much this drum would come to mean to me over the following year.

It has become part of my shamanic journey, my learning, my practice, and my connection to sound. I now use it within my energy work, and there is something incredibly grounding about the deep, earthy sound the drum creates.

There is a beautiful relationship that develops when you create something with your own hands. From a raw frame and hide, to something that feels alive and has its own voice.

A year on, I still feel incredibly grateful for the experience, for Holistic Therapies On The Wolds who guided me through the birthing, and for the drum that continues to walk alongside me. 🤍

One year later, and the drum still feels like a little piece of my heart. And I couldn't be more pleased to have this drum with me on my next chapter, as I begin to offer drum birthing myself from next July.

Most of us aren't very good at switching off.

We're always working. Always available. Always rushing. Always thinking about the next thing that needs doing.

And even when we finally sit down, our minds can still be running through the list.
But your body needs more than just a break between responsibilities. It needs moments where you intentionally choose to slow down.

To put the phone down. To breathe. To be somewhere without needing to achieve anything. To give your mind permission to be quiet for a while.

This is why intentional wellbeing matters. Because sometimes switching off doesn't happen by itself. We have to make space for it.

And you don't need to wait until you're completely exhausted before you do. 🤍

When was the last time you truly switched off?

19/08/2026

You don't have to come alone. 🤍

Sometimes wellbeing feels even more special when it's something you can experience together.

You can come with a friend, a family member, your partner, or even a colleague and share the experience of slowing down and making space for yourselves.

I offer bespoke sessions that can be shaped around the people you're coming with and what you would like from your time together.

Perhaps it's a chance to reconnect. A little time away from everyday life. An opportunity to relax and reset together. Or simply something new to experience side by side.

If you'd like to arrange a bespoke session for two or a small group of friends, family, couples or colleagues, send me a message and we can chat about what you'd like your session to look like.
