Those living with us at the Westborne had a fantastic time making homemade pizza to enjoy! One particular resident, Richard, took full advantage of his skills and ended up smashing out so many pizzas... And let me tell you they were absolutely tasty!

Those living with us at the westborn enjoyed a lovely day of craft making to celebrate National Marine week! We made paper masks and they were excited to choose which Marina animal they would be for their selfie! They also had fun decorating the home with seahorses and various lovely fish that are giving us a tropical feel for this week!

Yseterday morning those living with us were delighted to enjoy the performance from Lostock ukes raising money for St. Luke’s Hospice. We engaged in more…connection as we shared a song, a dance and a smile with those around us!

Two lovely people living with us joined us for an exciting outing to Holmes chapel as we stopped at the local Tesco to shop for some chocolate for our friends at home. As a reward for our hard work we stopped at Holmes Sweet Home for refreshments and even surprised the lovely joey with a chippy. He was so happy and reminisced on his time working on the oil rigs, where his love of seafood began!

We had a lovely visitor in the form of the always fantastic Glyn Jones who popped in to spread cheer and laughter and music for those of us living at the Westbourne! Everyone had a ball, there was dancing and cheering and laughter, and we cannot wait to see him again this year!

At The Westbourne we had a unique and thrilling opportunity to be graced by the presence of a fantastic snooker coach!

Snooker coach Chris Lovell, known for his work with six-time World Champion Steve Davis, gave the people living with us the opportunity to learn more about one of the sport’s most iconic figures.

Those living with us had an exciting time and loved the opportunity to talk with Mr Lovell, and share their own memories of snooker games!

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming the brilliant Carl Brent, who treated us to a lovely afternoon of music. Despite the warm weather, everyone enjoyed themselves, singing along and soaking up the atmosphere. Smiles all round by the end of the day, we’re already looking forward to having him back!

Yesterday was an extraordinarily happy day, despite the rainy weather, as those living with us at the Westbourne were invited to go out and experience the delights of Bridgemere Garden Centre. Everyone had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful shopping area and picking out seeds for our garden at the Westbourne, finishing the afternoon with cups of tea in the café. As always, Myley trips were an utter delight for everyone involved, and we can’t wait for the next one!
