This wonderful photograph shows The Square in the 1960s, before the original George and Dragon was demolished in 1970 to widen Knutsford Road.

Today, people visit our village from around the world because it's the hometown of Harry Styles, proving that places, just like music, have a special way of bringing people together and creating lasting memories.

As well as enjoying plenty of tea, homemade cakes and great conversation, it was lovely to spend time with members of our community and lend a helping hand. Events like these are a reminder of how important it is to stay connected and look out for one another.
